These offer a much increased light output and greater efficiency when compared to standard types. As a result, they make enhanced substitute bulbs for applications such as cycle lamps, torches and security products. However, because they are much brighter than standard bulbs, life is reduced to between 15 and 20 hours. Available only with a miniature flanged (P9) base. Black nylon in-line fuseholder suitable for use with the standard plug-in type blade fuses. To use, cut the red wire connected between both terminals to give lead-outs to each terminal. Access to the fuse is by means of a snap-fit lid on the top of the holder, and several of these holders can be fitted together by virtue of a tongue and groove moulded into opposite sides of the casing.
